The only problem: you can't just use a generic/standard 2G/3G unlimited data plan with this device!<br><br>It's like the Blackberry were everything is handled server-side by RIM - with the SIdekick, everything is handled server-side by Danger. There's an additional proprietary data layer on top of the familiar TCP/IP-APN over /HSDPA/EDGE data layer.<br><br>Your Sidekick SIM probably won't work beyond voice and SMS on any other device - and that is all kinds of fail :) Yeah, I have to admit that I'm excited about this too… The only problem: you can't just use a generic/standard 2G/3G unlimited data plan with this device!

It's like the Blackberry were everything is handled server-side by RIM – with the SIdekick, everything is handled server-side by Danger. There's an additional proprietary data layer on top of the familiar TCP/IP-APN over /HSDPA/EDGE data layer.

Your Sidekick SIM probably won't work beyond voice and SMS on any other device – and that is all kinds of fail :)
